Deception Point Deception Point by Dan Brown

rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great book, great story! I think this is probably better than The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons.

Although it tackles yet another unprovable belief, this time extra terrestrial life, this one dwells in the world of science and, like the other books, human deception.

A huge meteorite, proving the existence of extra terrestrial life, is found above the Arctic Circle right before the United States Presidential elections. Incumbent canidate President Herny, a staunch supporter of NASA is challenged by Senator Sexton who promises to turn over space to private enterprise. The meteorite all but hands the election over to Herny, until it's discovered the meteorite is a fake.

Several civilian scientists find their lives in danger as greater powers try to cover up the scientific proof of the deception.

  2. I read that book several years ago, but I thought it was excellent too. I like all of his books. I haven't read anything he's done since Da Vinci Code, but I read all of the others except one...zero something?
