Houston....We Have A Camera!!!

Before throwing the camera away, I took it to the Camera Guy at Target. (Thanks, Larry!) He said my batteries were not good for my camera. So I bought the expensive ($2.50/battery) ones and lo and behold! it works. I wouldn't have a problem with this at all, except I've always bought "regular" batteries for the camera. They generally last several weeks as I only take a couple pics a day. Why "all the sudden" did the camera develop such expensive tastes? Not complainin' mind you, just wonderin'....

Here is Mittnz 48! That's four dozen mittens!

Here's the last set of eight!

And here is the most recent set of muffatees!
These were adapted from a mitten pattern knit in the round.

Second Son brought Third Grandson over for a visit yesterday. TG will rarely volunteer for cuddles but backed himself up to me for a short lap sit.
Youngest Daughter drove herself to work last night and home again this morning. She said it was okay and didn't hurt her back to do so. She's still leaning to the side, though, compensating, so I hope she wakes up early enough to get hold of her Primary Physician and get a referral to a chiropractor.

For those that like to experiment with dyeing yarn...check this out! I just happen to save pennies so I may have to try it out...

  1. That's great that you figured out what was going on w/your camera. I didn't even think about trying different batteries, even though, I did have a camera & a cookie press that were very particular about batteries, too. No dollar store batteries would work & my cookie press would only w/the Heavy Duty copper top batteries.

Great mittens! I haven't tired those yet. Are they as addictive as socks? LOL!

  2. I'm glad you've got a working camera again. My camera also requires the expensive batteries, as it sucks up so much energy.

Thanks for the dye tip! I may have to give that a try.

I really am glad you're commenting. Please make sure I can find you by insuring you leave an e-mail address. It's so frustrating to have someone ask a question and no way to answer them! Thanks!
