This is pair 47 of the current Mittnz knitting spree. They are made from left over sport weight sock yarn, a wool/nylon blend. Thumbless, they are intended for little hands.
The Challengz for the members of Native American Support, those of us making warm things for the Native Americans on the Cheyenne River Reservation, are Mittnz, Hatz, Feetz, and Babez. Right now, as you well know, we're doing Mittnz. Next is Hatz. So, I started making Hatz. I crocheted two and am in the process of knitting one. But I must put it down and make more mittnz. Mariella has finished her 48th pair!
For those that would rather purchase and send, from now to August 1 is Buttz, better known as the Underwear Drive. So if you can find your wear clear to cover a Kidz Butt or a couple of Kidz Buttz, feel free to mail some underwear to: Julie Garreau-Project Director, Billy Mills Youth Center (The Main), 8200 East Lincoln Street, P O Box 410, Eagle Butte, SD 57625. She'll see it gets to the right Buttz.
Youngest Daughter survived her first day back at work. She was walking pretty slow this morning, tho, when I dropped her off.

I really am glad you're commenting. Please make sure I can find you by insuring you leave an e-mail address. It's so frustrating to have someone ask a question and no way to answer them! Thanks!
