Nothin' Much...

It was a good knitting day. Youngest Granddaughter and I hung out watching TV and knitting.

I watched a great movie yesterday. One I'd never heard of, "The Man From Earth." What a fantastic story. If you have Netflix, it's one of the Watch Instantly movies. Not only did I watch instantly, I put it at the top of my queue so I can share it with my kids.

The second sleeve is finished on Presto Chango. Now it's just the right front on the main part of the sweater. Then figuring out how to adjust the front panel to fit the changes I've made in the size of the body of the sweater. I'm really afraid this sweater is going to be too small for Youngest Grandson, but knowing how easy it is to adjust the sizing, I can knit another one rather easily. I think it would be cute in all garter stitch with some variegated yarn.

As you can see, the cat is as impressed with my knitting as most of the people in this house are!

I have the second mitten from the upstairs project almost to the top decreases. Then just adding the thumbs and they'll be done for pair # 10!

I played around with the I-cord thumb yesterday. Mariella and exchanged a few e-mails and although the thumb is easy to make, attaching it poses all kinds of "fun" things.

Kate is having a contest over at Must Keep Knitting. Check it out!

  1. That sweater looks interesting--I'm looking forward to the finished product. I sometimes get nervous making size changes in patterns. I'm doing that to one now.

    Thanks for the movie recommendation.

I really am glad you're commenting. Please make sure I can find you by insuring you leave an e-mail address. It's so frustrating to have someone ask a question and no way to answer them! Thanks!
