My first bogging award was awarded to me by Joansie. She was one of my first blogging friends and encouraged me so much a year ago when I started knitting socks. Although her talents range through all areas of knitting, socks are "our thing." Thank you much, Joansie, and I'll take seriously the challenge to pass the award on to those that brighten my blog reading day!
I finished up the towel for my mother. I really like how it came out and hope that it'll get used. If not, oh well.....
Didn't do much other knitting. Finished up crocheting a slipper for Heet the Feet.
Today my Oldest Son and Youngest Son and I are going to join me at the movies. We're going to see Sweeny Todd. Hey, it's Tim Burton and it's Johnny Depp and it's Helen Bonham Carter and it's Alan Rickman....
OOOOOOHHH!!!! You **KNOW** I want to hear all about the movie!! I hope you have a great time with your sons, too. Thanks for sharing the preview.... Johnny sounds like he's still got a bit of Captain Jack left in him.

I think that generation never uses anything new. My mom has a closet of "new stuff" she will use some day....really, she's now 87....lol.
