Pay It Forward

I am accepting the Pay It Forward challenge I found at Ari's blog.

"I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog(s) requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."

What about you? Wanna accept the challenge?

Are you behind on your gift socks? This might be the answer!

Okay...let's see. I finished up the fulled slippers for my Eldest Grandson yesterday!

And I fixed the Republic Hat. The pattern failed to note that a row of even knitting was necessary when doing the decreases. So I frogged the crown and redid it. And added a crocheted embellishment.

And, of course I CO a new project. Simply because the pattern intrigued me.
Short Row Rib 1
The pattern has purl rows which I eliminated mainly because I was more interested in the technique than the ribs. I think this is a great for a spaced dyed or variegated yarn.

Youngest Son and I cleaned up the back yard as the weather people say we have a big storm coming in from the Gulf of Alaska. It should be hitting the west coast today and us tomorrow. Lots of rain.

Speaking of the back yard....remember me talking about our citrus trees? Well, boy, howdy, do we have citrus. Absolutely tons of lemons and lots of grapefruit. And they all look ripe. We've picked a couple lemons already and they are pretty good. Tarter than I like, but definitely good lemons.

I really am glad you're commenting. Please make sure I can find you by insuring you leave an e-mail address. It's so frustrating to have someone ask a question and no way to answer them! Thanks!
