It's really easy to understand!

From the White House. Please spend the time to look through this!!! It's vital to your health.
Read Homespun Dreamings to get a summary of the proposed health care changes that isn't based in fear. The last eight years have been all about making the American people, heck, the people of the world afraid. Afraid of everything that is new, unique or a different color.

The loud disruptors of the Town Hall meetings across the country are refusing, to the best of their ability, to allow anyone to explain why fear isn't necessary any more. It really is okay to pull your head out of the sand and see that the sky is, indeed, NOT falling. I know it's hard to give up fear. We've been counseled to hold on to it for so long, if we let go, what do we have?

We have a chance for a better life, to return to the old values of helping each other out, and making sure that those of us not in the prime of our life have the help we need.
Check out Helen's acerbic comments.
Today, as we steer a new course at the United Nations, our guiding principles are clear: We value the UN as a vehicle for advancing U.S. policies and universal rights. We work for change from within rather than criticizing from the sidelines. We stand strong in defense of America’s interests and values, but we don’t dissent just to be contrary. We listen to states great and small. We build coalitions. We meet our responsibilities. We pay our bills. We push for real reform. And we remember that, in an interconnected world, what’s good for others is often good for America as well.--Susan Rice, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations
Benjamin Franklin said, “The U.S. Constitution doesn’t guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself.”

  1. Thanks, Lizzie! I read the links carefully and found it to be very informative.

When I listen to some of these protesters, they are so "tunnel vision". Nothing will be perfect but we must go with what is best for the majority of the people who are left out of the medical health system.
