Socks and Stars Forever!

Page copy protected against web site content infringement by Copyscape

During my blog perusals yesterday, I came across a really neat pattern for a scarf. I wondered how the stars were made and following just the pic, I managed to duplicate it. And after reading a couple tutorials, figured out how to join them as I went along. I really liked it but couldn't imagine sewing them together and having all those loose ends to weave in.... Now if I could just come up with an idea of what to do with them. They'd make a pretty afghan...

I got a couple inches done on the Houdini Socks and I'm almost finished another pair of Feetz for the reservation.

I read soooooooooooo many blogs. Sometimes well over 100 entries a day. (Lately I think there must have been a lot of New Year's Resolutions to blog more often!) I look a pictures of knitting in various stages and it almost always makes me want to CO another project. Not a specific project, just CO to get the high of something new.... Pictures of yarn used to do it to me, too, but not so much anymore....

Jean said it well: "January is in fact a good deal darker than November. I worked it out. The difference is entirely due to hope. Today will be a sort of winter solstice for the whole world – the worst is behind us; things will get better."

  1. Depending on how you connect the stars, I think they would make a pretty scarf.
