I'm very happy with the way they turned out and so is Youngest Daughter.
Now I can't decide if I want to work on the Neapolitan or the Red Heart Heart & Sole.... However, I'm very tempted to try the Houdini Socks. Or the Diamondy Socks that Joansie is making. Or Knitty's Spring Forward Socks by Linda Welch. If I did Spring Forward, I'd just use the lace pattern as I don't do toe-up. Except if I try the Houdini Socks...
The people next door to us got evicted. No great loss as they insisted on playing their rap music so loud I'm sure you heard it and thought it was coming from the car next to you.... We called the police several times with a noise complaint. However that's not why they got evicted. They couldn't pay their rent. Oh well. Now it's quiet again, and there is no cloud of pot smoke hanging over the back yard! Yeah!
Isn't this pretty.....
Very cute! I'm sure YD will love them. Happy knitting.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Those knit up fast!
ReplyDeleteooooohhhhh... those are PRETTY! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely socks! The feather & Fan pattern is one of my favorites! Did you use the original CO of 48 sts? Are they real stretchy or should I increase the CO sts for an adult pr. of socks
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see why you are happy with these socks. They are very nice, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI loke all the patterns you have selected. Mine are probably the easiest and quickest to knit.
Good riddance to bad neighbors. Mine are finally gone also but it was hell while they were here.
