...but I know what I like

Jason explains what this is....

I finished my third pair of foot coverings for Heet the Feet. They look square, but the garter stitch really does stretch out nicely.

And the was all the knitting I did yesterday. While waiting for my TV programs to start last night after supper, I watched Mrs Henderson Presents. It was great fun! If you've got some easy knitting to do, rent it and enjoy! Judi Dench is great as usual, but I really like Bob Hoskins. I'm not much of BH fan, but he was really good in this.

Today is the first mailing for the Log Cabin Charity Round Robin. We started out at Knittinghelp.com and have expanded to Ravelry, too. If you're looking for a really easy way to contribute some knitting time and inexpensive yarn....let me know. Each one of us in the group starts out knitting or crocheting a square for the center of a log cabin blanket. It's then mailed on to the next person, who adds a block and mails on. Round and round it goes and at the end we have a finished blanket to send to whatever charity we're sending to. The first round, at least, will go to the Cheyenne River Reservation, Eagle Butte, SD.

  1. Great looking slippers! You sure are speedier than I am with this pattern. I still need to do the cuff on my first one.

I really am glad you're commenting. Please make sure I can find you by insuring you leave an e-mail address. It's so frustrating to have someone ask a question and no way to answer them! Thanks!
