Socks and socks and socks
Socks and socks and socks magnify

Here's the first Doby Sock. I finished it up last night. The second one is CO and the heel shaping done.

Then there was the frogging. I realized I'd never have enough yarn to make two socks from the pink and white (Cherry Kool Aid), so I frogged back to within a couple rows of the cuff and am striping some Black Cherry Kool Aid in with it.

It's looking pretty good. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it up today. I'm about the same place I was yesterday morning. I was able to replace all the frogging while watching Zodiac with my son. What a stupid movie. I can see why it never made it in the theaters! Don't waste your time/money on it. Glad we got it as part of our free two weeks at Vongo.

Cindiluhu had this meme on her blog and I thought I'd share it. How about you doing it, too?

Mark with bold the things you have ever done, with italics, the ones you plan to do sometime, and leave the rest.

Does anyone want to join me in the Summer of Socks? It looks like a lot of fun with some contests thrown in!

As practical as my sock blockers are, I sure do love these:

Here are some swatches done for the Knitting Guild Association Master's Program Seems like a lot of money to prove one can knit....

Such gorgeous double knitting. On my list of things to learn how to do!

Aren't the color changes in this yarn gorgeous?

And some nice free patterns, too!

Scroll down to see the sleeves on Joe's Colorblock Cardigan. Way too many ends to weave in for me, but it's gorgeous!
