Yarn Porn....

The donation of acrylic yarn for the hats arrived. And it is two skeins of LB Microspun. There's been quite a big of discussion on one of the knitting boards about using it to make socks. Several people did and loved the socks. It is soft. So....I may try it out. I'm still apprehensive about acrylic socks, but worse case scenario they'll just be house socks.

I got some work done on the sock. But I did more frogging that work. I tried to work on it when there were distractions around. It's hard to believe that at 54 I still can't count to four....

However, progress was made on the -->click Asherton Hat. I decided to just completely change colors after I ran out of the orange. So now it has an orange bottom half and a snow white top half! I have about four rows until I start the decreases, so it'll be finished tonight. It sure is a tall hat!

My kids' paternal grandfather's birthday is next week and the family is doing a card and picture shower for him. Here is the obligatory photo of my youngest daughter and her two daughters.
