- Holes in my knitting.... Free hat pattern
-
I've finally managed to incorporate a small pattern in the leg of my sock. Nothing spectacular, but at least there is something there. Just a K4, YO, K2tog. I'm doing the Eye of Partridge heel and have that about 2/3 the way done. Here's a new to the net click--> sock pattern from Trek called Side Step Socks. It's got a really neat texture to it.
And I managed to incorporate a design into click--> Michelle's hat, too.
The lace pattern is Climbing Leaf Pattern, November 2, 365 Knitting Stitches a Yarn. My hat pattern is at the bottom of this post. Here's another click-->cute hat pattern.
It's cold out today. In the 50s and wet. There is water in my yard again, but this time it's from the rain.
F is picking me up later today and then we are going out to celebrate B's birthday. Yummy Mexican food at a new-to-me restaurant.
Haven't been able to find much out about the Briggs and Little yarn. I know I can order directly from the manufacturer in Canada, but when I asked the price for six skeins I got not reply. I've asked the people that recommended it if it's super wash and they both said now, but one says she washes her socks in the washing machine just fine..... Just a little confused now! I suppose a tightly knit sock wouldn't full in the wash....
