- I dyed....
-
Here's the KA dyeing I did yesterday. I started with Arctic Apple on the Knitpicks yarn with the colored bits. It was too light, so added some Lemon-Lime and got this green. The red is Black Cherry, and the blue is Blue Raspberry. The Red and Blue is the same yarn as the anklets I'm currently knitting.
I have the heel flap just about done, so if I get a goodly amount of knitting time in today, I should be able to finish it.
Do you ever go in to just do the dishes or just clean off the table next to your chair and end up rearranging the entire room? That happened to me yesterday. We have a very tiny kitchen as far as counter space goes. There was about a foot square piece of counter top to use during meal prep or baking, etc. Just wasn't conducive to doing anything.... So, yesterday, I added a flat top to a trunk that is in the corner of the kitchen and moved the bottled water dispenser (crock with a five gallon bottle) and my daughter's bread machine. With a little more rearranging it opened up a whole bunch of space! Guess it worked...my daughter made muffins for breakfast!
Remember how tickled I was that my AC unit was up and running? It's almost cold enough again to turn on the heater! It rained on and off all day yesterday and the temp was down in the mid 40s last night! So I guess our weather is just as screwy, if not as dramatic, as the New Englanders and others with all the new snow! Global warming is a reality.
Navigator: Yes, I do know how to cross stitch. And I'm quite good! I'm one of those people that can only do one hobby at a time, so now I knit!
