Miss Potter

I worked on my baby blanket while watching Miss Potter last night. Such a wonderfully enchanting story! Take the time to watch it when you want something light, romantic and charming!

I rearranged the living room yesterday. When my son and his family come to visit this winter, we'll need to have enough room to be able to open up the couch into a bed. So I'm experimenting to find a way to do it. Not sure if I like the present arrangement, but....

The humidity went down to 35% yesterday so we turned the evaporative cooler on. It did cool the downstairs by several degrees. However now the humidity is back up to 74% so there's no sense in having the fan blow more moisture into the house. Everything's a big soggy as it is....

My deadline for the baby blanket has been moved. School starts next week, not in two weeks and I really wanted it to be done by the first day of school. We'll see if I can manage it by next Wednesday!
