Why the knittin' doesn't get done....

Doncha just hate when life interferes with knitting??? This is what got done instead of much knitting yesterday. The kicker is, none of that is my laundry.... It belongs to to three of the other four people that live here. :::heavy sigh:::

Remember the purple socks? The ones that were frogged more than knitted? (Is that really possible?) Well, they are all packaged up and ready to ship to my DIL for a belated birthday present.

I enjoy finding unique ways to ship things. Learned that back in my rubber stamping days. We used to send all kinds of funny stuff in the mail. It's always fun to see which postal employees are curmudgeons and which appreciate creativity. Years ago, there was one that refused to mail any of my unique packages. Said they couldn't be delivered, yada yada yada. So I sent him stuff at the post office! Anyway, this will go out in today's mail.

I actually did get some work done on both the sweater and the hat. MicroSpun socks are still languishing in the To Be Continued box. I still have another 7 or 8 inches on the back of the sweater.
