- Log Cabin Blanket
-
I don't know if this is a variation of SSS (Second Sock Syndrome) or not, but I really don't like working with the fuzzy yarn and have been avoiding finishing up the last sock. AND, I've had a hankering to add a new project to the pile using needles larger than toothpicks!
In order to keep from CO a new project, I dug my Log Cabin scrap yarn variation out and have been working on that. Going from #2 needles to #10 is a bit of a shock! I got a few rows done yesterday, but am determined to finish up that sock today!
I had to do housework yesterday. My Internet went out and Cox sent someone over to fix it. I had to clean off my computer desk and dig out the cable cord from behind the furniture to make it accessible. Well, then, I had to clean the entertainment center, too. You know how quickly electronics collect dust! Which is when I found my Log Cabin project. To make a short story even longer, the Cox guys came, fixed my Internet (which is faster than it was) and I have a clean desk and entertainment center!
Today I have to clean up the back yard again. When it rains we have a swimming pool in our back yard. (F and I have yet to figure out how to fix that little problem.) I don't really care but my priss of a dog hates "doing her thing" in water! Anyway, with all the wind and rain, I have citrus blossom petals and leaves amidst the doggie doo. Time to get the rake and shovel out!
But I am going to finish that sock!
